	Battery Analyzer

This Battery Analyzer is designed to test batteries using a series of short pulsed DC Impedance signals. This testing method is more accurate than conventional resistance load testing. The battery can be tested whilst still fitted to the vehicle and also allows tests to be carried out right in front of the customers at the same time giving instant results and enabling accurate diagnosis. This gives the customer more confidence and gain maximum impact when giving him or her your recommended actions based on the results.

Application:

Used to test a wide range of 12V battery types Wet (Flooded), VRLA or Maintenance Free (MF), Sealed Maintenance Free (SMF), Absorption Glass Mat (AGM) and Gel.

Spark Tester Operation

Adjust the Spark Tester gap to 20mm (normally) and notice the spark produced. Straight and violet blue in color indicates the ignition coil is Normal.

If the coil has aged or is defective, the spark is either red or curved shaped

For higher compression ratio engines, bigger spark gaps are needed. In order to get better test results. the tester’s gap needs to be adjusted wider when doing the test..
