HONDA DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM (HDS)
The Honda Diagnostic System (HDS) includes the software and the Honda Interface Module (HIM) with 16 pin OBDII and Honda 3 pin cables as well as the RS232 serial cable. The system runs on PC or Laptop with Windows 2000 or Windows XP Professional operating system. Windows XP Home Edition and Vista cannot be used.
The software covers all vehicles from 1992 to the current model year (Honda Passport and Acura SLX is not possible). The software can monitor, diagnose and reprogram Honda and Acura control modules.
HDS Software Functions Include:
DTC reading and clearing
Snapshot function (capture data relative to trigger)
Vehicle data display (value, line graph or bar graph formats)
DLC location diagrams
Data list display (real time display of ECM/PCM values)
Onboard help and tutorial
Control module update functions.
This tool is a must have for all technicians involved in the service and repair of Honda and Acura vehicles.
